At The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto, we often say that community matters. This is more than just a catch phrase or slogan; it’s one of our core values. We work hard to provide for our families and to achieve our own dreams, but we also believe that we have a bigger purpose. We believe that we are stewards of the gifts that we’ve been given and one of our responsibilities is to make the community in which we live a better place for all.
We have a Community Matters page on our website that features some of the work we do in our community, including our work with Veterans. The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto are grateful for all those who have served our Nation and are committed to serving veterans when they return home.
Putting Our Money Where Our Mouth is
There are several ways that The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto are serving veterans:
- We partner with The Tennessee Veterans Business Association to invest in veteran-owned businesses. You can read all about that on our blog.
- We are helping to sponsor the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention, coming to Knoxville next month. In addition to our sponsorship, one of our firm’s partners, Andrew Roberto, serves on the convention’s Executive Committee.
- We are also the presenting sponsor of WBIR’s coverage of the Medal of Honor Convention. As part of this sponsorship, we are pleased to help bring you the Profiles of Courage series featuring the 14 Medal of Honor recipients from East Tennessee.
Serving Our Nation’s Heroes
One of the big reasons that our firm is so passionate about serving veterans is because of all the veterans that we represent. The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto assist Veterans whose disability claims have been denied or who are seeking increased discharge ratings. Andrew Roberto is accredited as attorneys for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims before the VA. He is a member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA).
