Our Community Service

One of the reasons that we became lawyers is that we love helping people. We’re committed to serving our clients. But we’re also committed to serving our community. These are a few of our partners. We invite you to check them out for yourself and join us in helping to make our community a better place to live and work – for everyone.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army has been serving the Knoxville community since 1899. Through a variety of programs and services, they focus on long term solutions that help thousands of men, women and children each year. Our team serves lunch once a month in the soup kitchen and we love to ring bells each Christmas in the Red Kettle campaign. Firm partner Andrew Roberto also serves as Chair of the Advisory Board. Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee

The Epilepsy Foundation helps ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and and seeks to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research. Although there has yet to be a cure for epilepsy, they strive to ensure that “not another moment is lost to seizures.” Their hope is to help people living with epilepsy manage their seizures and improve how they are perceived, accepted and valued in society. In addition to helping sponsor the annual Mardi Gras fund raising event, our team helps the Epilepsy Foundation promote bike safety through our annual LIDS4KIDS CAMPAIGN. Our firm is proud to partner with the TVBA to host INVEST, a business competition for veteran entrepreneurs. The winner receives a $5,000 grant from The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto.
